Life after 60...........is good!

This blog has been created so that our family and friends can follow us where ever this new chapter of our lives takes us. On April 15th,2012 we left Abbotsford BC, Canada, to start a new life in Cuenca Ecuador. We have been searching for a place to spend our retirement and last year our search led us to Ecuador.. We knew after only a week in Cuenca that this would be the place to start. Less than one year later, we are here. It still feels like I am dream...............................

Pumapunga

We spent the whole day roaming a museum and an archeological dig that is located only 7 blocks from our apartment.
It boggles my mind that right in the heart of the city is this magnificent place. We were in the museum for three hours, took a lunch break and then roamed the dig for three hours. It was very spiritual walking the same place that the Incas...... and the Canaris before them......had lived so many years ago.
